BIOGRAPHY

Alli Walker, named Top Country’s ‘Top Female Artists of 2019’, and nominated for Rising Star at the 2020 CMAO’s (Country Music Association of Ontario Awards), is a Prince Edward Island-raised country music singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who moved to Toronto when she was 19 to ‘chase the dream’.

After dedicating over a decade to honing her craft, writing music and playing hundreds of shows, Alli released her debut album called The Basement Sessions in 2019 to great acclaim, landing a multi-week spot on the Top 10 iTunes country charts. Alli’s debut in 2019 focused on what she coined ‘Mindful Music’ and ‘Conscious Country,’ which narrated her own personal mental health journey. The response from fans, the industry, and the media far-exceeded her expectations. “Through the strong connection I’ve made with my fans from my first album, I discovered there really is a space for vulnerability and honest storytelling and I’m looking forward to continuing being open with my songwriting on my next record.”

Making the best of the pandemic restrictions put in place across Ontario over the past year, Alli spent most of her lockdown writing, recording and getting the pieces together for her upcoming sophomore album. Alli recorded the album remotely between her personal home studio in Ontario and in multiple #1 producer Danick Dupelle’s Nashville studio (Tyler Joe Miller, Tebey, Emerson Drive). While writing and working towards the album, Alli decided to share unreleased original demos on the ‘new-to-her’ social media platform TikTok. Here she found and built a loyal fan base with several demos going viral garnering her millions of views and over 130,000 followers. She called on these new listeners to decide which tracks stood out and ultimately helped choose which songs would be recorded for her upcoming album. “Country Music” the standout track from the released demos quickly racked up over a million views and thousands of comments on Alli’s channel, making it the clear choice for her sophomore album’s debut single. The nostalgic and upbeat track bonded over the role country music has played in their lives. Keeping listeners on their toes, “Country Music” provides a treasure hunt of references weaved through the lyrics from Alli’s all-time favourite tracks that fans are challenged to find. “Country Music” is available streaming everywhere now.

Alli has been featured on CTV’s Etalk, Global Morning Show, CTV Morning Show, CHCH Morning Live, Alive Magazine, SiriusXM, Pure Country Radio, Top Country, Complete Country, Notable Life, The Casey Clark Show, and many more. She will be releasing singles from her Factor Funded album throughout 2021 and 2022, with the highly anticipated full length sophomore album set to release in the Fall of 2022.
